LESSON 11

PERSONAL PROTECTION AND DATA PROTECTION →Hello again!!! in today's class we have learned about personal data protection. Next we will talk about information that we all need to know when using devices. Nowadays we use technologies and devices for everything, that's why we should know that we are exposed to have our accounts hacked. We have to be careful when putting passwords or user numbers on pages that are not very secure.  Installing things like Antivirus or Malware Detection Tool will allow us to stay away from this type of hackers. Since there are malicious programs that seek to obtain personal data and money. It is also advisable to renew passwords from time to time and not to use the same password for all accounts. In addition to this, it is also advisable to use secure passwords, which are those that contain a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, as well as numbers.  Another thing we can do to avoid obtaining our data is to delete cookies, because every time

LESSON 2

CLOUD DATA STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL

Today we have learned the different types of cloud storage and how to recover the data.

Cloud Computing is a paradigm that makes it possible to offer computing services (storage, content creation, blogs, wikis, streaming, social networks) over a network, usually the Internet. Everything that a computer system can offer is offered as a service.

FEATURES:

  • On demand service, you use it when you need it.
  • Network Access (Internet).
  • Shared resources, used by multiple clients.
  • Scalability, allows elasticity of resources.

TYPE OF CLOUDS:
  • Public Cloud: maintained and managed by third parties not related to the organization. (Google Drive)
  • Private Clouds: are on-demand infrastructure, managed for a single client that controls which applications should run where. (for companies, big organizations)
  • Hybrid clouds: combine public and private cloud models. (Hotmail)

DELIVERY MODELS OF CLOUD COMPUTING

  • Software as a Service (SAAS): access from anywhere, is not necessary to install software. Available for multiple end users and collaborative work. (Drive, Office 365)
  • Platform as a Service (PAAS): users can create and distribute their own
  • applications. (Google Play, Play Store)
  • Internet as a Service (IAAS): offers computing architecture and infrastructure, computing resources, all in a virtual environment. (Amazon EC2 or GoGrid)

CLOUD STORAGE
- It is a data storage model based on a computer network, where the data is housed in virtualized storage spaces, generally provided by third parties. You can access through your web browser.
