LESSON 11

PERSONAL PROTECTION AND DATA PROTECTION →Hello again!!! in today's class we have learned about personal data protection. Next we will talk about information that we all need to know when using devices. Nowadays we use technologies and devices for everything, that's why we should know that we are exposed to have our accounts hacked. We have to be careful when putting passwords or user numbers on pages that are not very secure. Installing things like Antivirus or Malware Detection Tool will allow us to stay away from this type of hackers. Since there are malicious programs that seek to obtain personal data and money. It is also advisable to renew passwords from time to time and not to use the same password for all accounts. In addition to this, it is also advisable to use secure passwords, which are those that contain a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, as well as numbers. Another thing we can do to avoid obtaining our data is to delete cookies, because every time

DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES INTERACTION → Hello again! In today's class we have learned how to create Virtual Learning Communities. These communities can be created in forums, web pages or even messaging applications such as WhatsApp or Telegram, also in social networks. The latter can be used in education as virtual communities devoted to learning, through streaming live, groups or adding information. On the other hand, we have also seen what is online digital security or also known as cybersecurity. It is the set of tools, policy, security concepts, security safeguards, policies, risk management methods, actions, training, best practices, locks and technologies that can be used to protect the assets of a company and its users in the cyber environment. On the other hand, we have seen cyberbullying. Bullying is the action of harassment through online communication technologies (e.g. cell phone, social networks, etc.). It can happen both in adults and among children and the combination

• The name of your community and what you will talk about We have chosen the social network of Instagram and the name of our community will be @petanimals_ict. In it we will mainly talk about the topic of pet animals and how to take care of them. We will also claim their rights, as well as try to stop their abuse and abandonment. @petanimals_ict • A screenshot of the community created with some posts (each group member must post a different screenshot) • The Social Network chosen add the text you have written in group (general information and justification of the social network). We have chosen Instagram because as it is one of the most common social networks, it guarantees that everyone can access it and look for information. In this way, it will reach a higher number of people. What is more, this application is very useful because there are different ways to post and share content: by uploading stories, photos; videos and reels; and even sending direct mes

→ CREATIVE COMMONS For this exercise we have to create the type of license that best suits our photos and personal documents. My own image: This is my cousin's puppy, being a personal photo I have chosen the CC BY-NC-ND license. Mainly because I don't care if this image is shared but as long as credits are given. I don't want it to be a commercial image and not to be modified.
Este obra está bajo una licencia de Creative Commons Reconocimiento-NoComercial-SinObraDerivada 4.0 Internacional. Slide: For this other image, I have chosen the CC BY-NC-SA license. First of all, because it is a

Under the following terms: Attribution: you must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. NonCommercial: you may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits. C) This is a good reference because the license of this article allows you to share it with more people and even adapt it to your needs, as long as you credit appropriately. This article will be useful for us to be able to work on our topic "pet animals" since it questions the definition of a pet, and explains that many people prefer to call it a companion animal since it would c

DIGITAL CONTENT, INFORMATION, EVALUATION AND LICENSING → I n today's class we have learned about what a digital content is and also the types of software that exist as well as the types of licenses it has. A digital content is any form of data or information in digital form (such as electronic files), as opposed to physical form. There are two types of software : System software: like Windows, Android, IOS. Application software: Word, Photoshop, Teams. We can classify the software in 4 types from the point of view of the license : Traditional licence (Copyright), Free software, Freeware, and Shareware. We also learned about Intellectual Properties , which refers to creations of the mind and is the set of rights that authors have over their original creations. And finally Creative Commons , which consists on a non-profit organization dedicated to provide free permission to the public to share and use their creative work under the terms and conditions of their use. They

CLOUD DATA STORAGE AND RETRIEVAL → Today we have learned the different types of cloud storage and how to recover the data. Cloud Computing is a paradigm that makes it possible to offer computing services (storage, content creation, blogs, wikis, streaming, social networks) over a network, usually the Internet. Everything that a computer system can offer is offered as a service. FEATURES: On demand service, you use it when you need it. Network Access (Internet). Shared resources, used by multiple clients. Scalability, allows elasticity of resources. TYPE OF CLOUDS: Public Cloud : maintained and managed by third parties not related to the organization. ( Google Drive ) Private Clouds : are on-demand infrastructure, managed for a single client that controls which applications should run where. ( for companies, big organizations ) Hybrid clouds : combine public and private cloud models. ( Hotmail ) DELIVERY MODELS OF CLOUD COMPUTING Software as a Service (SAAS): access from anywhere,

NAVIGATION AND SEARCH → In our first class we saw the differences between Web Browsers (the most common are Chrome, Internet Explorer or Safari) and Search Engines (most notably Google, Yahoo or Bing). A Browser is a software program that is installed on a cell phone, a computer, or any other electronic device on which the Internet can be easily accessed. On the other hand, a Search Engine is also a program, but with the difference that it can search for the keyword entered and obtain matches. We also saw how to maintain privacy while surfing the Internet. Web Browsers offer an incognito tab, this allows you to search for things easily and they will not be recorded in the search history. On the other hand, Search Engines allows you to modify your personal and private data, such as removing the location. On the other hand, we saw tips to search in Search Engines and thus make our search more accurate. This bar allows us to select photos, videos and even books of th
